OLA Officially Teases Electric Cars

Indian EV startup OLA Electric has released a teaser video of its upcoming premium electric car. Ola Electric has already announced that the company plans to enter the electric four-wheeler segment with an India-centric product. The company is selling the electric scooter, Ola S1 which has received a positive response from buyers. The official teaser reveals that the first Ola electric car will be a low-slung sporty sedan. The electric sedan has a coupe roofline and modern design language. The other two could be an electric SUV / coupe and hatchback. The Ola electric sedan production is likely to commence in the second half of 2023. It is expected that the Ola Electric sedan will come with a large battery pack of around 70-80kWh, which is likely to offer a long-range. No further details have been shared as of now but Ola Electric’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal stated that more details will be revealed on August 15.
